A Full Cup Vs An Empty Cup

Full cups is what most of us have. Our cups are filled with all sorts of  activities, feelings, dreams,thoughts,struggles,wanderings, prayers, you name it our cups are overflowing. I wonder if it would be presumptuous of me to say that some of what fills our cups is in need of pouring out? You know what I mean, the stuff that got mixed in with what we wanted in our cups like wisdom, love, confession,forgiveness,grace, prayer. The thing about full cups is this: Full cups have to be emptied, cleaned of all the old stale brew.  And then those cups may be filled with all that they were made to hold. I invite you to empty your cup. 

An empty cup represents a fresh start. Now that our cups are empty, I want to share with you one way to fill our cups with wisdom.
